Forging and Grinding Operator

Main responsibilities

SMB Medical SA, part of the Marle Group and specialised in the manufacture of orthopaedic implants, is looking for a Forging and Grinding Operator to strengthen our forging department and support our continued national and international growth.

• Hot forging and stamping of steel and titanium components in compliance with technical and quality specifications
• Manual grinding operations
• Dimensional and quality inspection using measurement instruments
• Technical drawing reading

Requirements

• Previous experience as a forger or stamper on mechanical presses and hammers
• In-depth knowledge of hot stamping processes for steel and titanium
• Proficiency in the use of grinding machines
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and use measurement instruments
• Excellent manual dexterity
• Availability to work two shifts
