At SMB Medical, we offer four apprenticeship paths, each with different activities and skills to develop.

Polymechanic

Polymechanics mainly work in mechanical production. They learn how to read technical drawings, set up and operate CNC machines, check component dimensions, and work with a high level of precision.

This profession is ideal for those who enjoy mechanics, technology, and hands-on work.

Commercial employee

Commercial employees are involved in the administrative and organisational activities of the company. They may work with documents, emails, orders, data, internal communication, and support different departments in their daily activities.

This profession is ideal for those who are organised, communicative, and enjoy working on a variety of tasks.

Automation technician

Automation technicians work with equipment, electrical systems, and automated machinery. They learn how to install, inspect, and maintain technical systems, identify potential problems, and contribute to keeping production running efficiently.

This profession is ideal for those interested in electricity, technology, and automated systems.

Mechanical design engineer

Mechanical design engineers turn ideas and technical requirements into drawings and models. They use CAD software to design components, modify geometries, and prepare the technical documentation required for production.

This profession is ideal for those who enjoy technical drawing, design, and finding practical solutions to technical challenges.
